The next step is to set up recording options for your cameras. You can do this by clicking on the "Recordings" button on the main toolbar of the software. You will see a list of recording options that you can enable or disable by checking or unchecking the boxes.


Some of the recording options are:


  • Record All Cameras: This option will record all cameras continuously.



  • Record On Motion Detection: This option will record only when motion is detected by any camera.



  • Record On Schedule: This option will record only during specified times or days.



  • Record On Alarm: This option will record only when an alarm is triggered by an external device.



  • Split Recordings After Set Period Of Time: This option will split recordings into smaller files after a set period of time.



  • Add Time Stamp To Recordings: This option will add a time stamp to each recorded frame.



You can also specify where to save your recordings by clicking on the "Browse" button and selecting a folder on your computer or network. You can also choose to back up your recordings via FTP by clicking on the "FTP Settings" button and entering your FTP server details.


Step 4: Watch and Manage Your Recordings




The final step is to watch and manage your recordings. You can do this by clicking on the "Playback" button on the main toolbar of the software. You will see a list of recorded files that you can play by double-clicking on them. You can also delete or export recorded files by selecting them and clicking on the corresponding buttons.
